What is laptop overheating?
Laptop overheating can be described as situation where by the laptop temperature is higher than its normal temperature.
Causes of Laptop overheating
The major causes of overheating in laptop are:
1. Faulty laptop cooling fan: One of the main causes of overheating in laptop is a faulty laptop cooling fan.
If the laptop cooling fan is faulty, the fan will not be able to control the hotness of the laptop processor and video chip which will result to overheating of the laptop.
2. Faulty or bend laptop cooling fan heat sink: Another cause of the overheating in laptop is faulty or bend laptop cooling fan heat sink.
If the laptop cooling fan heat sink is faulty or bend, it will not be able to dissipate the heat generated by the laptop processor and video chip normally.
3. The Blockage of laptop cooling fan: If the laptop cooling fan is blocked by too much of dust or other things, the fan will not be able to regulate the heat generated by the laptop processor and video chip which may result to overheating in laptop.
What are the symptoms of Laptop overheating
1. If laptop starts overheating, the laptop will keep shutting itself down in a few minutes after it is turned on.
2. laptop overheating makes the affected laptop to keep hanging or slow always.
In conclusion, if you notice that your laptop has one or all these symptoms, it could be as a result of the overheating of your laptop.
